The hotel was located just next door to restaurants, restaurants all within walking distance and the garden. The atmosphere created was quiet. We greatly enjoyed the king room which was reasonably large with comfy beds.

I recently stayed at Chez Lola in the charming town of Civray for a few days. The hotel's location was perfect - tucked away on a quiet street, yet just steps from the bustling town center. The room was spacious, with a huge and incredibly comfortable bed. The host, Chris, was absolutely lovely and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. One evening, Chris even treated us and other guests to a delightful wine tasting in the garden. I cannot recommend this hotel enough!

This place is mind-blowing! The location is jaw-dropping - so quiet yet close to the center. The room is super spacious with a huge, insanely comfy bed. The host is beyond lovely - always there to help. We even had a wine night in the stunning garden! Can't recommend enough!

The room I stayed in at Chezlola was absolutely charming. It had a cozy fireplace that made me feel right at home. The electric kettle was perfect for making a cup of tea after a long day. The flat-screen TV was a great feature for relaxing in the evenings. And the private bathroom with a shower was convenient and refreshing. As someone who loves a comfortable and inviting room, I was completely satisfied with my stay.

I must admit, the only thing I liked less about the room was the tea/coffee maker. It wasn't as convenient as I had hoped.
